Road Weather Information System
Highways operate under a delicate balance, especially during winter months and severe weather conditions. To ensure the safe continuation of traffic and transportation, operators must accurately monitor real-time weather and surface conditions along the route.
The meteorological stations we have developed continuously measure critical data such as ambient temperature, humidity, wind, precipitation, and road surface conditions on highways and major roads. These data are transmitted to central systems and actively utilized by variable message signs, maintenance teams, and control centers.
The system precisely measures numerous parameters, including air temperature, humidity level, wind direction and speed, precipitation type and amount, visibility range, as well as road surface temperature, freezing risk, water accumulation, and icing, through highly sensitive sensors. The collected data are processed within the central analysis infrastructure, where current conditions are evaluated together with historical data and forecast models.
This approach strengthens early warning systems and enables field teams to respond promptly and accurately.
Our meteorological stations feature a flexible structure that can adapt to diverse climates and environmental conditions. They operate reliably across a wide temperature range—from cold climates to desert regions. Each project is designed according to the technical and environmental requirements of its location, ensuring maximum performance in every site.
